– Hand-knitted sweater embroidered with cross-stitch featuring maritime symbolism and Poveira initials. Traditionally knitted with 100% wool thread sourced from the sheep of Alentejo, a region in the south-central part of Portugal with a tradition in the production and hand-spinning of wool, used in clothing since the 16th century. Alentejo is characterized by vast plains, occasionally interrupted by modest mountains, where flocks can be seen peacefully grazing in this area beyond the Tagus.
